Un giovane e baldanzoso ragazzo si sveglia affamato nel cuore della notte e, deciso a placare la sua fame, si dirige in cucina dove però si addormenta sul tavolo da pranzo tra tazze di latte, pane tostato e marmellata. Si risveglierà in un medioevo onirico, con una freccia in una spalla e costretto ad affrontare un sanguinoso duello con un avversario sconosciuto.

A peckish young man wakes up in the middle of the night and decides to have a midnight snack. He goes to the kitchen. While eating, he falls asleep on the kitchen table face down in a plate of food. He awakens in a dreamlike medieval setting, where he finds himself wounded by an arrow to his shoulder. An unknown opponent challenges him to a bloody duel.
Midnight Snack was shot shortly after New Year’s Eve. In two snowy mornings of January.
